Rebecca Loos took to her Instagram account on Saturday to give her followers a health update following her recent surgery.
The former glamor model, 47, revealed in the comments of her post that she had to have a ‘large and painful cyst’ removed via keyhole surgery.
Posting a photo of her stomach covered in bandages, Rebecca said: ‘Day 5 post op – healing is going well. I’ve been taking short walks and showers, which feels great.”
‘I miss practicing yoga and being outside more, but that said, having to switch off and slow down gives me time to think about where I am in life and where I want to go.’
‘Where and with whom I want to channel my energy. Moving slowly is a gift in this fast-paced world!’

After sharing the news, one follower said: ‘Ooh get well soon – lacroscopy? Hysterectomy? I hope your healing progresses quickly. You are in good hands with your boys and hubby.’
To which Rebecca replied honestly, ‘Keyhole, four incisions through the stomach to remove a large and painful cyst. It’s healing well and I’m so happy it’s out!’
Throughout her career, Rebecca appeared in several British TV shows including Celebrity Love Island, Extreme Celebrity Detox, Temptation Island and The X Factor: Battle of the Stars.
But she left Britain after meeting her Norwegian doctor husband on the reality show 71 Degrees North.
She now lives in Norway and spends her time practicing yoga, running, cycling, hiking and foraging with her sons.
She lives away from the spotlight and is now a health and fitness guru. She lives in the mountains with her family and regularly practices yoga.

After she shared the news, a follower wished her well before asking what surgery she should have. Rebecca honestly revealed that she had undergone keyhole surgery to remove a painful cyst.
Photos on social media show the star in her picturesque surroundings, including amazing shots of her practicing yoga and walking topless.
The Spanish-born model moved far away from the spotlight to the Norwegian mountains after she made headlines in 2004 when it emerged she accused David Beckham of having an affair, which he denies.
In 2016, Rebecca, whose blog is about the Scandinavian wilderness, told how caring for her ‘little vikings’ and doctor husband transformed her from a famous glamor girl into a Scandinavian domestic goddess.
‘I clean the house, scrub the bathroom, prepare dinner every night, do the laundry – I like to take care of my home and family,’ she told MailOnline, from the small ski hamlet of Hemsedal.
The former glamor model reflected on her wild lifestyle of the past OK! that she has “a lot” of regrets but doesn’t hide any of her past from her family, saying her boys “know mom has a naughty side.”

She also revealed she was considering studying nursing after enjoying working on the Covid frontline.
When asked if she has any regrets about her time in the spotlight, Rebecca said: “Oh, tons! “I’ve made a lot of bad decisions, I’ve trusted a lot of people I shouldn’t have trusted.”
The former reality star explained that she felt “used for ratings and fame” during some of her show appearances, noting her infamous scene on The Farm where she collected semen from a pig.
The ten-minute clip was watched by 1.6 million people and was one of the most controversial scenes in Channel 5’s history, with 37 Ofcom complaints.
She was also on the cover of boys’ magazines such as Playboy, FHM, Nuts and Zoo.
